Make My Monday: Summer Brights

Hello!  Today it is my turn to choose the challenge at Make My Monday, and I have chosen the theme Summer Brights.  I have chosen to use these great Paperartsy stamps (one of my acquisitions from the Happy Stampers show) for this challenge, which I coloured with Promarkers.

I created the background using Brushos and stamped the background images in Distress Inks, then I cut out the stamped and coloured flowers and layered them on top, and finally stamped the sentiment.

This is a DL sized card, and is the first one I've made in a very long time!

Messy Fun

Good morning!  This is a card I made using some stamps by Visible Image.  I was luck enough to win £40.00 to spend on their stamps in last month's challenge in the Visible Image Facebook Group, and these are some of the stamps I chose.

I created the background using Brushos and Distress Inks on bubble wrap.  Then I used acrylic paint which I added using various different size lids (form paint  and glue bottles, pens etc to create the rings.

I stamped the lightbulb onto a separate piece of card and cut it out.  I coloured it with Distress Inks and a Letraset Metallic Marker then added some Glossy Accents over the top.  I  also stamped the moth and cut it out and coloured with with Distress Inks.  Then I stamped the wings in Versamark onto Vellum and embossed them.  I coloured the back of the vellum with Polychromos pencils.  I layered the moth onto the card using foam pads.

I am really enjoying getting back into doing some messy stamping and mixed media stuff.  It's been a while!

Moonflower Digistamps: Sunflower Maiden

Cardsz 4 Galz: Sew and Sew

Good morning.  Today's challenge at Cardz 4 Galz is Sew and Sew.  I didn't have any sewing themed stuff in my craft stash, so I decided to make a card using lots of sewing.  All layers of this card are hand stitched aroudn the edges.

The image I used on this card is by Saturated Canary, and I coloured her with Polychromos Pencils.  I embellished my card with buttons and die cut butterflies.

Cardz 4 Guyz: Stars

Hello everyone.  This week's challenege at Cardz 4 Guyz is stars.  I thought this wizard image by Dr Digi would be great for this challenge.

I die cut my wizard using a star die and coloured him with Polychromos pencils.  I layered him onto patterned papers and then cut various sized stars fromo patterned paper and layered them on top, then I added smaller stars which I cut from silver holographic card.

Moonflower Digistamps: Voodoo Priestess

Good morning!  Today I am sharing a card I've made using Voodoo Princess by Moonflower Digistamps.  You can find her in the Moonflower shop here:  https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/246353579/voodoo-priestess?ref=shop_home_active_34

I coloured her using PPolychromos pencils and layered her ontoa a Brusho background, card and some patterned papers.  The main background to the card was also created using Brushos.

To finish off the card I added some die cut flowers and flourishes.

Make My Monday: At the Beach

Good morning everyone!  Today's challenge at Make My Monday is at the beach, and this is my DT card.

I used an image by Polkadoodles, which I coloured with Polychromos pencils.

I layered her onto card and patterned paper and added some die cut shells and pearls.

Cardz 4 Galz: Graduation

Today I am sharing my DT card for Cardz 4 Galz.  This week's theme is grauduation.

For this card I used a digi stamp by Tiddly Inks called Graduate Wrynn.  I colored her with Polychromos pencils, and as I graduated just last year, I decided to colour her in the colours of my own graduation gown.

I layered my image onto patterned papers and added some die cut flowers.

Cardz 4 Guyz: Something Blue

Hello again.  This week's challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz is Something Blue (for Father's Day).

I bought some beautiful Hobby Art cat stamps from the Happy Stampers show at Port Sunlight a few weeks ago, so I decided that the main feature of my card would be a blue cat!  (Well, why not?)

I coloured my image with Polychromos penciles, layered it onto card and patterned paper and added the die cut DAD, some die cut stars and a Happy Father's Day sentiment.
