Good morning. Today's challenge at Make My Monday is to upcycle something.
I chose to upcycle a wooden tray which held embellishments into a wall hanging. The tray was already black. I used some metallic rub-ons in various shades of gold, silver and copper on the top of the tray, then made some holes in one side and threaded some ribbon through.
I die cut some flowers in various bright colours and stuck them into each section of the tray.
I hope you can join us for this week's challenge at Make My Monday.

Cardz 4 Galz: Mythical/Fantasy
Good morning. Today's theme at Cardz 4 Galz is Mythical/Fantasy. For this challenge I decided to create a card using this beautiful fairy house stamp that I bought recently, which is by Woodware. I coloured it with Prismacolor pencils.
I layered my coloured image onto patterned papers and added some die cut butterflies and pearls. If you click on the picture to enlarge it, you will see that I have also added some glitter - it had to be done since this is such a girly card!
I hope you can join us this week at Cardz 4 Galz.

Cardz 4 Guyz: Science Fiction
Good morning. This week's challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz is science fiction.
I created the background for this card using Distress Inks, which I blended from light too dark to create a glowing effect. I drew in the stars with white gel pen to make it look like a galaxy.
The image I used is a digi stamp by Rick St Dennis, which I absolutely love! I coloured it with Prismacolor pencils, and I think this is one of my favourite images that I've coloured.

Make My Monday: A Hint of Summer to Come
Hi All. This week's theme at Make My Monday is "A Hint of Summer to Come". I've made a card using this image I coloured for the March pencils class at Kit and Clowder. The image is a digi stamp by The Paper Shelter.
I coloured my image with Prismacolor pencils and then layered it onto sand coloured card and patterned paper. I added some tiny sea themed beads at the corners.
I hope you can join us this week at Make My Monday.

Cardz 4 Galz: All Dressed Up
Good morning! Today's theme at Cardz 4 Galz is all dressed up. I've used a digi stamp by La La Land Crafts for my card. I coloured her with Polychromos pencils.
I die cut the oval and hand stitched around the edges, then layered my image onto the oval and matted and layered with patterned papers. I finished my card off with a printed sentiment and some die cut flowers.

Cardz 4 Guyz: Men's Hobbies
Hello again. This week's challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz is Men's Hobbies. I am of the view that men can have any hobby they like, but decided to go with something traditionally male and chose fishing.
I created my card using this brilliant image by Dr Digi. Doesn't he look pleased with himself? I printed him on kraft card and coloured him with Prismacolor pencils, then layered him onto patterned papers. I also added some sticky backed ribbon.
I didn't want to detract from the image, so kept my embellishment on this one really simple (and free!), using the top of a wine cork in the bottom right corner.
I hope you can join us this week at Cardz 4 Guyz.
