Cardz 4 Guyz: Use Brads/Eyelets

Good morning!  Today's new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz is to use brads or eyelets.  I used some brads to embellish my card.  I realised when making this card that I hadn't made anything using brads or eyelets for ages, and I have loads of them from my early crafting days.

The centrepiece of my card is an image by Rick St Dennis, which I coloured with Prismacolor pencils.  I layered my coloured image onto patterned papers.

I hope you can join us this week at Cardz 4 Guyz.

Cardz 4 Guyz: Spooky

Good morning.  It's time for a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz, and this week's theme is "Spooky".

I've used this amazing ghostly pirate image by Rick St Dennis for my card, which I coloured with Prismacolor pencils.

My background was created using distress inks and water, with some layers of stamping.  The little bat embellishments in the corner are from a pot of bats and spiders that I bought in Michaels whilst I was on holiday in Orlando in August.

I hope you can join in the fun this week at Cardz 4 Guyz!

Rat King

Hi everyone.  I'm not doing very well at this blogging, am I?  This is a card I made for my oldest son's birthday.  The image is Rat King by Rick St Dennis and I absolutely love it!

I coloured him using Prismacolor pencils.  I hope you like him!

I'm finally beginning to find some time to colour again, so watch this space.  Hopefully I will be getting back to the making and DT work soon!

Cardz 4 Guyz: Science Fiction

Good morning.  This week's challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz is science fiction.

I created the background for this card using Distress Inks, which I blended from light too dark to create a glowing effect.  I drew in the stars with white gel pen to make it look like a galaxy.

The image I used is a digi stamp by Rick St Dennis, which I absolutely love!  I coloured it with Prismacolor pencils, and I think this is one of my favourite images that I've coloured.

I hope you can join us this week at Cardz 4 Guyz.
